Here at The Queens, we pride ourselves on offering delicious, homecooked food daily. From fresh seabass with tomato salad and green beans to mouth-watering Thwaites steak and ale pie with chunky homemade chips, there is something on our menu to suite everyone’s taste. Our food can either be enjoyed in our beautiful garden room which overlooks our outside space or in our snug area if you fancy something a little more cosy.
Our bar is fully stocked with a variety of cask ales, lagers, ciders, wines and spirits which all accompany our food perfectly. To the back of the pub, we have a huge outdoor space with plenty of seating, making it the perfect place for meeting friends on a hot summer’s day for a drink or two.
To make your visit even more special, why not stay with us? We have five newly decorated rooms which are available to book online and they are the perfect excuse for a little getaway with a loved one.
So, whether it’s for a Sunday roast with the family, a drink after work with a friend or for an overnight stay we look forward to welcoming you into The Queens.

There is plenty to explore during your visit to Warwick-on-Eden and our pub is the perfect base to start or finish your day exploring the beautiful town and surrounding areas.
Carlisle Golf Course is a short 5-minute drive from our doors and offers you the perfect location to take your clubs out with friends. The course offers a driving range and golf buggy hire and is a great day out for golfing fanatics. There are plenty of stunning walking routes around the area, which are only a short distance from The Queens. The river Eden walking route, located in East Carlisle, is a brief 15-minute drive away and takes you alongside the river offering some beautiful scenery. On average, this walk takes just over an hour and we will have a table ready for you for some post-walk refreshments (advance booking recommended).

We welcome early birds, late risers and four-legged family members (please specify upon booking). Don’t miss the playground and Boules area during the spring, summer, and autumn.
